February is here, so long January. February also returns with the National Storytelling Week running 01/02/2025 to 09/02/2025. Customers and clients buy from businesses they can relate to, so this week is a good time to tell your business story – here’s how.
Imbolc returns on 01/02/2025. This day marks the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, which is another way of saying let’s celebrate the brighter times coming. I’ll be attending Rachel Surtees’s fabulous online well-being workshop again, which guides you to breathe new life into your dream for the year.
February is a month for love but remember customers and clients are interested in all of your goods and services rather than just one ‘heart-shaped box’ day’s worth. Showing off your love for that thing you do over on your socials, consistently all year round is where the real magic happens.
Month long observances in the UK and across the world include LGBT+, History Month, Raynaud’s Awareness Month, and Season for Nonviolence (International).
There are a number of fashion shows for designers’ Fall-Winter outfits. New York Fashion Week is 06/02/2025 to 11/02/2025, London Fashion Week runs 20/02/2025 to 24/02/2025, Milan Fashion Week is held 25/02/2025 to 03/03/2025, and the Paris Fashion Week begins 03/03/2025 and ends 11/03/2025.
🌻 Week One – 03/02/2025 to 09/02/2025 🌻
Groundhog Day will be repeating itself on 02/02/2025 along with World Wetlands Day. It’s also British Yorkshire Pudding Day on 02/02/2025. If you haven’t mastered how to use them, National Chopsticks Day is on 04/02/2025. National Wear Red Day is also 07/02/2025. As is NSPCC Number Day.World Interfaith Harmony Week runs from 01/02/2025.
Know Yourself, Grow Yourself will be the theme of Children’s Mental Health Week beginning 03/02/2025, with the aim to explore the importance of self-awareness and expressing emotions. 03/02/2025 is also a Bank Holiday in the Republic of Ireland, St Brigid’s Day. International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation is observed on 06/02/2025, and Safer Internet Day returns on 07/02/2025.
With one in two people getting cancer in their life it is important to keep raising awareness of World Cancer Day is 04/02/2025.
To finish the week off we can celebrate with National Pizza Day and Chocolate Day on 09/02/2025, but please remember to brush your teeth as it’s also National Toothache Day.
Autism Sunday and World Marriage Day (International) fall on 09/02/2025.
🌻 Week Two – 10/02/2025 to 16/02/2025 🌻
Grab your favourite Teddy as it’s Teddy Day on 10/02/2025, whilst UN International Day of Women and Girls in Science will be 11/02/2025, with Promise Day.
12/02/2025 is Red Hand Day, also its United Nations International Day against the Use of Child Soldiers. Darwin Day also evolves on 12/02/2025.
World Radio Day tunes in on 13/02/2025, along with Galentines Day as who doesn’t want to spoil their female friends?
Of course it’s all flowers and chocolates on 14/02/2025 for Valentine’s Day, but if that’s not your thing, why not join International Book Giving Day instead.
Parinirvana Day (Buddhist) is on 15/02/2025, which is proving with Real Bread Week starting on the same date. International Childhood Cancer Day and Singles Awareness Day also falls on 15/02/2025.
